About Dr Baba
Supplement labels make bold promises, and the studies behind them are often thinner than the packaging suggests. Dr Baba is an independent publication that reads both, with a global health outlook. We cover supplements, clinical topics and consumer health for adults who would like a rigorous look before they spend money or place trust in a claim.
A word about the name. It is the title of a publication and nothing more. No physician writes or reviews here, there is no clinic or medical practice behind it, we have no clinical staff, and this is not medical advice.
Who we are
We are searchers by trade: more than twenty years of search and marketing research, plus an equal stretch as affiliates inside the health and wellness industry. We love optimising our own health, and in that sense we are enthusiasts like many readers, but we are not doctors and we do not pretend to medical expertise. After two decades the main lesson is that this industry is nearly impossible to read without help, and we try to supply it.
How we work
Our process begins with what you want answered. For every product or topic we collect the manufacturer's own claims, then check them against the most recent published studies and the buyer's practical facts: what is in it and at what dose, what it costs and how refunds work, reported side effects, the people it fits and those it does not, and rival options. We never recommend. Instead we show everything and hand you the decision. Links to further information run through each article so you can keep digging.
Fact-checking and how our articles are made
Articles are drafted with AI assistance from primary sources that we cite. Automation earns its place because it can pull together company statements, studies and buyer facts faster and more evenly than hand work would. Before publication, each factual claim is matched to the source it cites, and an independent review step reads the finished article. We stamp prices and availability with the date they were last verified. Medical and safety points are attributed to the sources making them, never stated as our own findings. Diagnosis, dosing and treatment instructions are outside what we offer.
Who writes here
Our articles carry the byline "By DrBaba.com Health Research Team". That describes the publication's editorial team taken together. It does not describe a credentialed individual, and we show no names, portraits or credentials. Check the sources instead; they are cited for exactly that reason.
Corrections
Tell us through the contact page if we have something wrong. The article is corrected and the change is marked on the page.
How we make money
When readers buy through some of our links, we earn a commission. We present our own and our partners' products in a favourable light and we tell you that directly. Misleading you is off the table, and any page with such links carries a disclosure.
The point of all this is to end your search, with the evidence in front of you.
